Little Blessings Childcare & Preschool was birthed in an extra room of our home over 10 years ago. After the birth of our first child, we opened a small center in an underprivileged area of town in 2008, and before we knew it, we were bursting at the seams there!! During this process we discovered a lack of quality and consistent care for children who were placed in the foster care system, making one of our main priorities reaching and caring for children who had come from very difficult situations. With that in mind, we realized that in order to accomplish our goals we would need to find a much larger facility. We moved our center about three miles up the road to a facility in the Carencro area that was about double the size. Very shortly after that, we came to the realization that what we were offering met a very specific need in our community and could benefit many other families in the area. We then began growing our family, starting with a facility in Scott, then Broussard, followed by Milton, Lafayette, Youngsville, and Breaux Bridge! We also have two locations in Dallas, Texas: Garland and Rockwall. We are very proud to say that Little Blessings Academy serves more foster families than any other childcare center in south Louisiana!!!
